Age
You must be 18 years or over to be considered for a Volunteer position. You must be 25 or over to drive Festival service vehicles.
Photo ID
Photo ID must be produced on entry.
Email Access
You must have access to a current and usable email address as all applications and most correspondence will occur via email.
Safety
You must comply with all safety requirements associated with your Volunteer position. These are detailed in the Job Description. All positions require enclosed shoes. Outdoor work requires a hat. For work involving long hours in the sun, shirts with sleeves and collar will be needed.
Shifts
You must complete all shift requirements as stipulated by the Volunteers Job Description.
Smoking
No smoking while on duty during shifts, including when travelling in Festival service vehicles.
Confidentiality
All information and processes associated with the volunteer position are to be considered confidential.
Ticket entry
Your volunteer ticket allows only one person to enter the festival. It does not entitle members of your family or associates to enter on your ticket. Tickets need to be purchased through the normal channels for all members of your group who are not volunteers. Please check our ticketing website for ticket availability.
Camping
You must camp in one of the designated volunteer camping areas, according to when you start your first shift. You are able to upgrade to Season Camping, but you must pay $55 after you’ve received your volunteer wristband and will NOT be able to set-up prior to the patrons arrival on the 25th December. Volunteers camping in Season Camping must join the queue with patrons in order to set-up their camp from the 25th December.

Bring a positive attitude, acting with courtesy and in an orderly manner at all times.
