T-SHIRT DESIGN COMPETITION - COMPETITION OUTLINE
The T-Shirt Competition outline for 2009.
Have you ever had a great idea for a festival t-shirt?
We are calling for submissions from across the country for YOUR designs for a t-shirt that will be featured as one of OUR official festival shirts at this year’s event.
You will be able to log on to the competition page to view entries and YOU get to vote!
The designs will be judged in two rounds, the top 5 entries that receive the most online votes will move on to the Final Round. A panel of judges (WFF General Manager, WFF Visual Arts and Festival Decoration Manager, and WFF Head of Official Merchandise) will select ONE final design from the top 5 as voted by YOU, with the winner being announced on December 1 via the website.
The top 5 entries that receive the most votes will win a one-day pass to this year’s festival.
And the overall winner gets:
2 x Season passes with camping to this year’s festival (valued at $1010)!
$200 voucher to spend in the festival shop (CD's, band merch, and festival mementos)
$500 cash prize donated by Red Octopus screen printing
Global exposure on the web for your design and a whole lot of cool folk, wearing your art!
 The competition is open to all ages and you can enter a maximum of 3 entries. Each entry must be a different design.
Festival organisers have the liberty to approach entrants who present designs of merit that may not necessarily be voted into the top five, with a view to print the design.
HOW TO ENTER
To submit an entry for the Woodford T-shirt Competition simply complete these four steps.
- Apply online
Complete the online application form
- Create your design
Keep in mind your design must be submitted digitally in PDF format at a resolution of 300dpi.
- Place your design
Show us where your design fits on the shirt using the T-Shirt Template below. Position your design to indicate exact placement of artwork on the shirt. Make sure you tell us the name of your design.
- Post your entry
Save your artwork and your design placement on a disc and post it to:

Please note: Your disc should be clearly labelled with your full name so that we can match it with your online application form.
Entires must be received by 5pm Friday 30th October.
IMPORTANT – Entrants that do not successfully complete all 4 steps will be deemed incomplete entries.
