The Woodford Folk Festival would like announce the Spirit of Woodford Awards for 2008. This will be the sixth year of the Video Award and the third year of the Original Stories & Yarns Performance Award and the Photography Award.

The Video or Film & Audio Award has a prize of $5,000 – Sponsored partly by Nutri-Tech Solutions and is open to subject matter which captures the spirit of any festival or arts or music event in Australia. Click Here to Download Word Document

The Photographic Award has a prize of $2,000 – Sponsored by the Queensland Folk Federation and is open to subject matter which captures the spirit of the Woodford Folk Festival. Click Here to Download Word Document

The focus of both the Video and Photography Award is to reflect the spirit of a group, artist, performer or person who inspires you and makes our planet a better place to share.

The Original Stories & Yarns Performance Award has a prize of $2,000 – Sponsored by the Queensland Folk Federation and is open to an original story or yarn, fact or fiction, with an uplifting and inspirational storyline. Click Here to Download Word Document
